According to Martin Kpebu, Titus Glover referred to him as a “struggling lawyer.”

During a live interview on Eyewitness News, Martin Kpebu stated, “We were once on TV, and Titus called me a struggling lawyer. He had the effrontery to call me that. Now you have seen your real size. Next time, when you have power, you should not insult citizens like that”.

“I don’t think he should come back to lead us. I think we have other Ghanaians who will behave better. So the NDC will win the election, and by the time the NPP comes back, Titus will be too old. Then he would have learnt his lesson,” he stated.

Kpebu further added, “I pray he loses. Titus should not go anywhere near public office. It is as if the NPP has no talent.”

Titus Glover in the studio was visibly irate and responded sharply, saying, “You were insulting Akufo-Addo. When I hit your adrenaline, you were not happy, and you think Akufo-Addo is happy with what you are doing?”.

He continued: “I can’t let this man run me down anyhow. He is totally wrong with what he is doing. It is as if, any chance he gets, he wants to run people down. If I deal with him right now, people will say that is not how we do it. You have not changed from this conduct. You decide to attack anybody anyhow?”

In other news, Martin Kpebu, a private legal practitioner, has opened up about his fear of being arrested should the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) come back to power.

According to Martin Kpebu, the excessive bail conditions and arrests by the Mahama administration against the NPP are becoming too many.

He disclosed that persons like him, who spoke against the former Akufo-Addo government, should the arrest continue, are in danger of being arrested should the NPP come back to power.

Speaking in a radio interview on Peace FM, Martin Kpebu stated, “The truth must be said; it is becoming too much for me. I have been fighting over bail conditions. So if issues like this come up, I have to speak truthfully.

Those who spoke against Akufo-Addo, if care is not taken, a future NPP government will arrest us. We keep hearing NPP members saying that when they come back to office, one wants bail unless the person comes along with Jesus. Some are also saying that you need to bring Lucifer and other stuff. So we should not joke with things like this, which are making the NPP make all the noise.

In the future, if care is not taken, when they come back to power, it will be a big problem for some of us helping this government. So, things that are not good, we must be frank with the government about it because we cannot endanger our credibility”.

In the case of Abronye, it was becoming too much; Baba Amando’s case also went overboard. I vote for JM, and I still support him, but that does not mean everything I should support everything the government is doing. The security agency should come down; when they do it too much, we are all in danger when the NPP comes back to power”, Martin Kpebu added.
