The Konongo Odumase M/A Basic School community in the Eastern Region is mourning the death of two of its teachers following their death on the opening day.
Reports suggest that the male teacher, Francis Aguah, popularly known as ‘General,’ was ill during vacation and died on the opening day of a new term.
The other female teacher, identified as Grace Stepheny, aka ‘Obaamua,’ also collapsed upon hearing the news of his death.
According to reports, the female teacher was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead.

Some Ghanaians reacting to the tragic news stated, “If I were the husband of the lady, I’d be very pissed and would have nowhere to take my anger”.
“People will read so many meanings into this, but they don’t know how loving someone genuinely is. The person may not be your sexual partner, but he’s your everything in that institution. Charlie, hearing the news of such a person can result in what has happened”, a netizen added.
One X user noted, “The way we break news sometimes to people as Ghanaians needs to be looked at, especially ones involving death. May their souls find eternal rest with our Maker”.
“Ei!!! Ei ei ei ei!!!! Sometimes we should watch how we break news to ourselves ooo. A lot of people have high blood pressure, but they’re not even aware of it. Such shock can cause a lot of damage”, a netizen cautioned.
