A viral video has surfaced on social media of the Minister of Interior, Mohammed-Mubarak Muntaka, spraying cash during a wedding.
In the video shared on social media, Mohammed-Mubarak Muntaka was spotted dressed in all white, spraying cash during a white wedding.
The Interior Minister was captured on the dance floor with a big smile spraying what looked like 50 cedi notes on the bride and groom on the dance floor.
A netizen who shared the video stated, “Hon. Muntaka Mubarak, the interior minister, sprays cash.
It looks like he was spraying Dollars 💵.

Some netizens reacting to the viral video wrote, “Meanwhile, footsoldiers remain unemployed and hungry. Hmmmm..this NDC gov’t Appointees.
“Maybe $97 million dollars from national cathedral 🤣🤣🤣 Npp are busy searching for propaganda under NDC but 3mfa. This thing he is doing is a simple thing every normal person as a worker can do in Ghana or entire Africa”, a netizen added.

Meanwhile, it will be recalled, President John Dramani Mahama launched a Code of Conduct outlining new guidelines for moral behavior, public accountability, and abuse of power for all political appointees under his government.
On Monday, May 5, 2025, President Mahama launched the Code of Conduct for all ministers, deputy ministers, presidential staff, chief executive officers, board members, members of the Council of State, and other appointees working under the Executive.
The code of conduct also bound President Mahama and the Vice-President, Professor Jane Naana Opoku.
President Mahama, at the unveiling of the document, highlighted the core values his administration expects from appointees—integrity, honesty, impartiality, respect, decency, incorruptibility, competence, and professionalism.
