Dezmond K. Gillespie further alleged that the Ghana Police Service, in a Facebook post, claimed he and his children were allegedly kidnapped, robbed, and tortured by individuals he says were police officers.

He further alleged that equipment linked to his Bitcoin mining activities was seized and that money was demanded in exchange for its return.

Desmond further accused some senior officials of protecting wrongdoing and claimed he had received threats after pushing for action on the matter.

In the post, he made additional disturbing allegations involving violent crimes and corruption.

In a Facebook post by Dezmond K. Gillespie, with the screenshot shared by ASKghmedia, wrote, “The Ghana Police Service is deeply infiltrated with armed robbers, kidnappers, rapists, and murderers. I was personally a victim, I was robbed, kidnapped along with my children, and subjected to torture. These criminal officers targeted my Bitcoin mining machines, which I had professionally built myself, along with their passwords.

High-ranking police officials at the national police headquarters in Accra are protecting and covering up for these criminal officers. Initially, they demanded $10 million from my Bitcoin funds. I resisted for a year, but when I pushed the case further, they refused to return my equipment unless I paid the ransom. Now, they’re even threatening my life, warning that if I speak out or anyone finds out, they will kill my children.

I could have just paid them, but I saw these officers taking drugs, drinking expensive alcohol, and even drugging and raping young secondary school girls. 1 witnessed them killing many Nigerian Girls arriving in Ghana by removing their kidneys for sale, all while I was held captive. The scale of cover-ups, lies, bribery, and corruption within the Ghana Police Service is more dangerous than NUCLEAR WEAPONS. NO ONE IS SAFE ANYMORE,

Our country desperately needs help; our officials cannot be trusted. We need foreign media Lawyers, ICC, Governments To step in and speak with the victims, not the officials, because these people lie and cover up crimes for financial gain. Trust in our authorities has all but vanished”.

Some Ghanaians reacting to the man’s Facebook post shared on X stated, “I was taking this seriously until I saw

“I witnessed them killing Nigerian girls and selling kidneys” and “we need foreign media” This seems like an Agenda to put dirt on the name Ghana. We know how other countries are envious of our good name. It won’t work ooo whoever you are”.

One X user added, “Really, since when did the Ghana police start harvesting kidneys and vital organs for sale

@GhPoliceService, you need to answer us because this is a serious allegation”.

A netizen added, “I don’t have to wait for him to provide evidence before I believe him, a police officer was recently arrested engaging in a series of robberies ! An inspector ooo”.

An X user added, “I believe what he is saying. A police man walked to my house and asked me if I live alone and other strange questions. He asked me to pay money for protection, which I refused. The next day, I was robbed. I reported to the police, and they told me to forget about my Stuff”.

One netizen added, “People are accusing the guy of lies. Were you there? Did you experience what he experienced? Aren’t there criminals in the ranks of the GPS? Why do you seek to trivialise someone’s ordeal in the hands of GPS? We all saw a policeman robbing Momo vendors a few days ago”.

One last netizen added, “Every Ghanaian reading this knows this is a big fat lie. I can bet my whole life on this that No Ghana Police Service man will do these alleged acts.

@GhPoliceService”.
